Partnerships span invention to delivery
The complete spectrum of electronics product development, from initial invention through to the manufacture and delivery of finished goods will all be highlighted by Datalink at Southern Electronics 2016.
The company specialises in, but is not restricted to, the oil and gas, process control and medical device industries, where safety and reliability are paramount and adherence to product standards and good engineering practice are essential.
ISO9001 accreditation, together with an advanced MRP system, underpin manufacturing activities ensuring delivery to the quality, time and cost targets, says the company. For medical devices, it has ISO13485 accreditation. It also supports and advises customers requiring products to work in explosive atmospheres (where ATEX and IECEx standards apply), on quality assurance systems.
Recent medical examples are the development of a dose-measurement system for a needle-free syringe, together with the current development of a drug delivery system. The company has also manufactured a range ATEX/IECEx-compliant products including those designed for pipeline inspection and assessment, intrinsically-safe high-speed data transmission, process plant monitoring, and well-head logging equipment.
