Surface treatment family firm has a blast
At Southern Manufacturing 2016, family firm, Guyson International, will highlight its automated and manual blasting and shot peening equipment for use on airframe structures, turbine blades, medical and dental implants, as well as on additive manufactured and 3D printed parts. It also makes a comprehensive range of aqueous and solvent based ultrasonic cleaning equipment, including submersible transducers and generators, for precision cleaning.
Equipment shown at this year’s show includes blast cabinets from its Euroblast (industrial usage) and Formula (light usage) ranges. The company’s sand blast cabinets are often chosen for applications such as component surface finishing, general maintenance, surface preparation prior to bonding, anodising or plating, and for imparting a wide range of value-adding cosmetic finishes to a variety of glass, metal or plastic products and also to products created using rapid prototyping or additive manufacturing techniques.
Also on display will be representative products from the Kerry ultrasonic cleaning bath and tank ranges, used for ultrasonic cleaning, including general precision cleaning, production cleaning for the removal of oils, swarf, polishing compounds, brazing flux, solder flux, carbonised deposits and moulding residues; the refurbishment of computer, photocopier and engine components; and the maintenance of mould tools, extrusion dies, printing components, saw blades and cutting tools, surgical instruments, electronics assembly system parts and small machined components.
