The first major event in the UK exhibition calendar, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, together with AutoAero, gives you the earliest opportunity to present your products and services to thousands of key industry buyers and specifiers keen to address multiple sourcing issues in a one-time efficient visit to Farnborough.

It has been busy. People are struggling to get through the aisles. We have organised a demonstration for next week at a potential customers’ premises. This was progressed in the first two hours at the show. We are very impressed

We had a £10k order in the first hour of the first day. We have taken some good, strong leads this year. Visitor numbers are up and a lot of decision-makers through the door. It’s just not viable to go to the NEC each year

The last two days have been excellent. We have had a decent number of enquiries and they are high quality. We have already had a tender package come through. The show has been very busy, which creates a real buzz and puts a smile on everyone’s faces. Southern is a well-known and good show and we have had lots of clients come to visit us

If your company is a 2nd or 3rd tier supplier to the automotive/autosport and aerospace/defence industries or supplies products and services to the Electronics Assembly/Production, Industrial Machinery, Energy, Marine, Metal Processing, Test & Measurement, Medical/PharmaBio, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging/Handling/Logistics industry sectors …

…then this is your show

2019 has smashed it out of the park. This is the busiest show Matsuura has ever experienced here. In all areas our years of exhibiting, this has been spectacular. The quality of visitors in terms of what they are looking for has been noticeable, in that they are actually seeking solutions, not just looking. And they always seem to find it at SME

It has been constantly busy – we thought we were over-manned but everyone is talking constantly to someone. The amount of people on our stand that are genuinely interested is really good

We have tried different types of exhibitions over the years – we get leads but no sales. But we do get genuine enquiries at Southern. We love the new venue, compared to the NEC, it is brilliant
