Graphic interface supports embedded design

ByteSnap preview edit_tmb Rewritten from the ground up, the latest edition of Linux OpenGL SnapUI user interface framework has been designed by Southern Manufacturing exhibitor ByteSnap to support the iMX6 processor.

Now Linux developers and graphic designers can build software for an embedded device directly on a Linux or Windows PC even before hardware development of the device has been completed. The software can be demonstrated on the PC and when the user interface has been agreed, it can be recompiled and installed on the embedded device to reduce dependencies between hardware and software work streams. It also accelerates development.

The company will also showcase a customisable LoRa demonstration with ruggedised data logger and 10km remote monitor. It can be used in remote locations, such as along rail tracks, and offers a battery life of at least five years.

It will also share its expertise on pre-compliance EMC testing and its new EMC testing service.
