Take a peek at latest innovations from Trumpf

At Southern Manufacturing 2014 TRUMPF will be giving visitors a preview of some the latest developments to be featured at its forthcoming Open House in March 2014. Among the products previewed will be its latest generation systems in marking and portable fabrication.

Although TRUMPF is best known for metal processing, its laser marking systems extend this technology to many other applications and, in particular, plastics processing. The breadth of the TRUMPF laser range allows the company to match the best system to the specific plastic material with consistent, high quality results. And the choice extends from desk top systems ideal for small batch work through to easily integrated OEM systems designed for high productivity environments. New systems are also available for marking sensitive materials such fruit and also leather.

The TruTool TPC 165 creates internal cutouts and clean edges on PUR and PIR sandwich panels, used in the construction and building sectors to provide thermal insulation. The company claims that it is the first and only method of undertaking this work easily and effectively, even on pre-assembled panels.

Visitors can also see examples from each of its power tool ranges, and punch and press brake tooling that is now available to all, not just owners of its own machines. Own design format tools are now complemented by the Eurostyle range, with popular sizes available ex-stock with specials also available.
