Six-axis milling system enhances capacity
Southern Manufacturing exhibitor Aerotech Precision Manufacturing has introduced a six-axis milling system to its CNC machining capability of two- and three-axis lathes, three-, four- and five-axis CNC milling.
The enhanced capacity allows various sized components from the smallest precision pin to the largest precision plates, fabrications and castings to be machined to AS9100 standards. The CNC portfolio is complemented by a number of semi-CNC and manual machines for prototyping, small batch runs and reactive engineering for short lead time requirements. The company also provides turnkey projects, combining equipment manufacture and assembly.
A recent development has been the launch of the Customer Portal web-based facility that provides their customers full and secure access to monitor live production and stock status of their parts.
