Rutland Plastics reveals interactive design guide
An interactive design guide which optimises plastic moulding will be showcased by Rutland Plastics. The company offers plastic injection moulding services and the ability to make plastic parts from 1g to 45kg and up to 1.5m in size, using its in-house design, toolmaking, production and post-production services.
The company been in the plastics business for over 65 years and is accredited to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 14001:2015 and was awarded Plastic Processor of the Year 2021.
The new interactive design guide has been developed to help ensure that a plastic part is optimised for manufacturing. The design team will be on hand to answer questions and discuss project requirements.
There will also be a wide range of plastic parts on show to illustrate different aspects of injection moulding including the electrofusion method of joining plastic pipes, gas assisted moulding and examples of different thermoplastics and their applications.
