Prototype development services from GEM UK
GEM UK used its appearance at Southern Manufacturing 2016 to highlight its capabilities as a Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM) specialising in Far East (Hong Kong / China) based manufacturing of electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards. Established in 1999, the firm has helped UK customers to reduce manufacturing costs and improve quality. A range of requirements are catered for, from the simplest single sided bare board to complete unit assembly. Its main assembly partner since 1999 is ISO9001:2008 and UL approved, and capable of reliably delivering work to the required standard at keen prices.
Another service offered by GEM UK is Prototype Support: The firm builds a small quantity in-house with no charge for labour or overheads to prove circuitry and component selection ahead of its pre-production small batch build stage, which employs the same factory assembly facilities and components purchased for subsequent bulk build. Pre-production samples are supplied at bulk build pricing.
