New Presses Increase Sheet Metal Production

IMG_1122 overhead laser small_tmb The sales team of Jenks and Cattell Engineering are looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces at the Southern Manufacturing Exhibition in Farnborough this week. This year is the firm’s third consecutive year of exhibiting.

Visitors to its  stand K92 will be able to discuss supplier opportunities in taking advantage of its huge investment in 2016 which includes two new high speed progression presses of 250 tonnes and 400 tonnes. The firm has also recently invested in its welding area, as well as commissioning an additional laser machine that can cut up to 3 meters in length, 20mm thick.

These investments are being made with the aim to enhance productivity, quality and cost savings throughout its customer’s manufacturing processes.

Jenks and Cattell Engineering currently manufactures metal fabrications and components for a number of leading industries including electrical, automotive, agricultural and white goods. Customers can take advantage of its complete sheet metal manufacturing service including two laser machines, over 30 presses from 10 to 1000 tonnes and both manual and robotic welding. Jenks and Cattell provides a complete service from a prototype to a finished component, included extras such as nuts, studs, plastic parts and surface finishing’s/coatings.
