The MYPro A40 placement machine which will have its UK launch at the show, operates at placement speeds that are 40% faster than Mycronic‘s earlier model (the MYPro MY300).

The MYPro MY300 set the benchmark for productivity in high-mix PCB assembly, but the MYPro A40 has faster placement speeds and is equipped with the MX7 high-speed mounthead to mount six times larger components.

Mycronic says whether it’s handling bulkier, odd-shaped components, scaling up to serial production or eliminating all possible machine calibration and maintenance, the obstacles encountered often boil down to the tradeoff between speed and flexibility. Now, it says, the new MYPro A40 brings pick-and-place, high flexibility and high-speed assembly together at last.

Mycronic also offers the MYTower series for intelligent component storage with small footprint, the MYPro MY700 solder paste jet printer for flexible high-speed precision printing, the MYPro PI SPI accurate solder paste inspection that monitors progress in real time and the MYPro I50 3D AOI system which increases yield and minimises false calls.
