Metal working challenge is issued

Q8_preview edit_tmb Developed to out-perform other fluids, Q8Oils offers 10 grades of water-soluble machining and grinding fluid. All grades are suitable for use in hard or soft water, with low foaming properties and suitable for high-speed machining applications and fluid delivery pressures on modern machine tools. The range is also designed to be compliant with the latest European industry legislation.

The company used its appearance at Southern Manufacturing 2016 to promote its Challenge initiative and offer new customers the opportunity to trial the metal working fluids in their own machine shops on a payment-by-results basis.

Also highlighted at the show were Berlioz soluble cutting and grinding fluids developed to be tolerant to both hard and soft water and free of formaldehyde, chlorine and secondary amines. Each of the six grades has been specifically formulated for the light- to heavy-duty machining of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys on CNC machines, machining centres, flexible manufacturing systems and all centralised systems. Another service-led initiative is QCare, a network-enabled, tablet-based system with a bespoke app that enables field service technicians to monitor fluids, complete audits and deliver results while still on site.
