Intelligent packaging protects
Foam profiles, sheets and rolls ranging from packaging and transport protection profiles to high-tech OEM components were showcased on the NMC stand at Southern 2016
Intelligent packing for the furniture industry protects glass, office furniture, picture framing and domestic cabinets. NomaPack U edge protection profiles are available in different dimensions and strengths which protect a product, especially over its edges. A range of round profiles, in various diameters and wall thicknesses, adapt to every curve or corner. Profiles can be developed according to customer specifications upon request.
The pre-shaped NomaPack U provides a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly solution, which is light weight, space saving, durable, adaptable and flexible, says the company. Customised solutions can meet individual needs.
The specialist in open and closed foams uses polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyurethanes. Materials are handled using extrusion foam profiles or produce (un-) networked channel profiles. Process engineers integrate various process steps such as for coating, insulating or co-extrusion.
To meet customer needs, the company has been designing and constructing special tools and extrusion machines. Its labs work with universities and independent institutions across Europe to be on the cutting edge of technology and research.
