In-house toolmaking allows modifications
Natural rubber, EPDM, silicone, Viton, Vamac, polyurethane and other plastics will be highlighted by SRM Industries at Southern Manufacturing 2016
The ISO9001:2008 approved precision rubber moulding and die-cut gasket manufacturer is based in the heart of the Midlands and its spectrum of rubber and associated materials serve a diverse range of industries. Help and technical assistance is offered from initial prototype to final production. An in-house toolmaking facility ensures the design of the tool suits the application and ensures a fast and efficient response to tooling requirements. Modifications can be accommodated promptly and prototypes produced efficiently, says the company.
This year it will be showcasing a range of differing moulded products from delicate seals and diaphragms, approximately 1g in weight, to large bulky items weighing over 20kg. It will also be focusing on volume die-cut gasket manufacturing and showing reels of gaskets manufactured in all types of foams and solid rubbers.
