Custom cables accompany standard models
The cable harness assembly operation from Intelliconnect (Europe) supplies custom cables including semi-rigid, semi-flexible and cryogenic cables with typical operating frequency range from DC to 50Hz. Standard cable assemblies are generally of copper construction, offer low loss, low VSWR performance, are phase stable and can be phase matched.
At Southern Manufacturing 2016, the company showed its Pisces Range of waterproof connectors. The company manufactures a range of coaxial adaptors for inter-series connection and gender change. Fast turnaround times for custom designs – undertaken without NRE charges to the customer – provide connector solutions for wearable technology including a waterproof quick disconnect connector for a cochlear implant design. It is working with 19 NHS trusts, supplying connectors, adapters and cable assemblies for radiation detection equipment as diverse as imaging equipment and RF ablation.
Markets served by the company are test and measurement, mil and aerospace, marine, oil and gas and general microwave. It has SC21 Signatory Status to the UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space industry Supply Chain Programme.
