Acrylic tapes builds on bonding strength
Double-sided, acrylic adhesive tapes were showcased at Southern 2016 by tesa UK. including its ACXplus , double-sided, acrylic adhesive tapes with optimum viscoelasticity for constructive bonding applications. It is a viable alternative to traditional mechanical fastening methods, says the company. The acrylic adhesive provides optimal wetting and chemically adapts to surfaces, giving a powerful bond on materials with different surface characteristics. According to the company, advantages are its bonding strength, stress dissipation and resistance to the elements.
Visitors were invited to bring applications with them to see how the company can help. At the show, there was also the opportunity to see other products, including a core selection of double-sided foam and filmic tapes, heat-activated film and laser labels for tamper evident security marking.
