Establishing a permanent cleanroom can be an expensive exercise. But Southern Manufacturing 2014 exhibitor Connect 2 Cleanrooms has a cost-effective alternative. The firm provides a range of modular, freestanding cleanrooms that can be established within an existing production area and configured to suit the layout and space available.

ISO 14644-1 Classifications from 5 – 8 can be achieved within the modular cleanrooms, with a much faster installation time than the conventional fixed room approach and with the added benefit that it can be disassembled and relocated during a change around of production lines. An intelligent closed loop control system reduces energy consumption by adjusting fan speed to compensate for the number people or levels of contamination in the room. Temperature can also be controlled to reduce condensation, especially important for electronics.
