Sub-contract machining firm continues to invest
Providing sub-contract machining services for nearly 50 years, Southern Manufacturing exhibitor Leemark Engineering is a family run business that is AS9100 and ISO9001-approved. It specialises in high precision CNC milling and turning, primarily for aerospace, but also companies in satellite communications, motor sport and pharmaceutical industries.
Continual investment in technology and implementation of modern manufacturing techniques makes the company confident in its ability to undertake work from single prototypes and complex assemblies through to high tolerance batch work, often to tight deadlines.
Manufacturing facilities are backed by a fully equipped and approved inspection department which can provide full AS9102 inspection reports where required. A CAD/CAM department is able to work with many formats of customers’ designs and drawings. It holds a large stock of certified materials to reduce lead time and improve the service offered.
When required, other processes can be carried out on for customers including, but not limited to, surface treatment, heat treatment and painting, by approved sub-contractors.
