Spring and service package from Lee Spring makes specification simple
Engineers of all walks had the opportunity to talk to the experts at Lee Spring at Southern 2019 regarding their design, production and maintenance of spring components.
The company’s new catalogue of over 25,000 standard parts was available, with over 2,000 new items including more than 500 new compression springs in metric DIN-Plus dimensions, new extension springs in SS316, new torsion springs in SS316 and added high pressure compression springs, including new 600 PSI designs.
The company says its philosophy makes finding the right specification simpler with many features such as grinding and plating options, alongside additional available services such as first article inspection, blanket agreements and many material and finish options. Wherever a design or production is based, the company can offer a service package from concept of new products to redesign of legacy items. Many spring examples were on display. The company’s range of custom and standard springs includes compression springs, torsion springs, constant force springs, die springs, Belleville spring washers, wave springs, extension springs, battery springs and numerous speciality springs. Materials include steel, stainless steel, cobalt/nickel alloy, bronze, brass, music wire and composite plastics. Custom design and manufacture services for one-off/prototypes or ongoing production requirements are also available.
