Skills support coil wound products
With over 40 years’ of experience in coil winding and customised wound components, regular Southern Electronics exhibitor NDE – North Devon Electronics can assist with product design, producing prototypes and samples.
The BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 and TS 16949:2009-approved manufacturing facility is equipped with modern automated winding, bonding, and soldering machinery. The skilled team of engineers has in-depth knowledge and practical experience in supporting key industries and specific applications, including aeronautical, audio, automotive, communications, hydraulics, measurement, medical, military, pneumatics, power supplies and scientific sectors.
Prototype and production services for coil wound products include transformers, inductors, chokes, self-supporting coils, solenoids, and customised designs.
New and existing production methods and processes, such as two-, four-, six- and eight- spindle automated winding and terminating, single spindle and hand winding, auto dip and hand soldering, inductive soldering, component assembly, injection moulding/over-moulding, laser marking, ultrasonic welding, temperature cycling and automated test are supported.
