Moulding service includes organic materials
Bespoke, precision moulding by Meadex Precision Rubber & Plastic Mouldings are used in a wide range of sectors including aerospace, agriculture, automotive, defence, engineering, science and the water industry. At Southern Manufacturing, the firm will showcase many examples from its range of rubber materials (EPDM, nitrile, neoprene, silicone, viton, fluoroelastomers) and plastics (nylon, PVC, acetal, polyprop, plus engineering grades). The company has also developed a range of components moulded from organically grown materials and created effective production solutions for recycled materials.
A step-by-step service begins with designing and developing initial moulds, tools and prototypes, through to creating the final product using CAD design, 3D printing and production machinery, with dedicated production for low to high volume.
The company is ISO 9001 accredited and will be receiving its TS16949 certification in 2015.
