Mills CNC showcases DN Solutions machine tools
The DN Solutions machine tools take centre stage at the Mills CNC stand. In particular, there are two ‘one-hit’ machines available which increase productivity.
The first is the compact DVF 4000 (pictured). This is equipped with an 18.5kW/ 12,000rpm (BT 40) directly-coupled spindle as standard,a 400mm diameter, built-in rotary and a tilting table with a zero-backlash roller gear cam design for improved process reliability. A 60-tool servo-driven ATC and integrated thermal compensation increase productivity and part accuracies, while roller LM guideways ensure fast processing speeds
It also features Fanuc 31i-Plus control which enables it to be used in full simultaneous five-axis machining mode and provides advanced contouring capabilities.
The second highlighted machine is the eight-inch chuck / 65mm bar capacity Lynx 2100LSYB. This multi-tasking turning centre is equipped with a five-inch chuck, 6,000 rpm sub-spindle, a Y-axis (±52.5mm) and driven tooling capabilities (6,000 rpm). It has a 15kW / 4,500 rpm spindle, a 12-station turret and also has Fanuc i Plus control and features a 15-inch touchscreen iHMI.
