Kiwa UK’s (KEC) laboratory in Blackwood, South Wales has expanded its UKAS-accredited EMC and electrical safety testing services and IP (ingress protection) testing for products, adding RN Electronics which specialises in UKAS-accredited radio and EMC testing services following a recent merger.

Now fully integrated, the two labs provide a combined portfolio of test services, including EMC, radio and electrical safety testing, for customers to meet the EMC, RED/RER and LVD/Safety Directives/Regulations for UKCA and CE marking. Being able to offer all three services as one company means it can deliver a straightforward and speedy service to device manufacturers.
