Among the innovations for factory automation showcased by Keyence, will be the IM-8000 inspection system. This is a high-accuracy visual inspection system that performs complex measurements on up to 100 parts in a matter of seconds, drastically reducing inspection time. It also removes all operator subjectivity to ensure consistent, reliable results with each use, says the company.

There is also the VHX-7000N series (pictured). This is a fully automated 4K digital microscope system that enables even novice users to capture high-resolution images that rival an SEM, says the company. A motorised turret offers a seamless transition in magnification from 20x to 6000x and is therefore suitable for detailed inspections such as PCBs, microneedles and solar batteries.

Finally, there is the LM-X series. This is a versatile multi-sensor measurement device which offers high-speed, high-accuracy sub micron level measurement. It combines three measurement methods and is able to measure up to 5,000 locations on up to 1,000 parts. It can be used without specialised training, adds Keyence.
