Investment creates specialist opportunities
Last year’s £1million investment in the latest manufacturing technology by Alpha Manufacturing was showcased at Southern Manufacturing 2017.
The Staffordshire-based precision sheet metal manufacturer specialises in large volume, precision sheet metal fabrications. Using the latest in cutting edge manufacturing technology, it offers laser cutting, CNC metal folding, CNC metal punching, CNC metal turning, MIG welding, TIG welding and a full powder coating plant, all on one site.
It serves a wide range of industries including electronics, automotive, agricultural, security, healthcare and power generation. At the show, the company demonstrated its complete service, from product design, through to full integration and assembly of complex components. A particular talking point was the benefits of the new machinery which was recently installed.
The latest investment includes a fully automated STOPA storage system and integrated Trumpf Trulaser 3030 machine.
