Interlink Electronics grows with UK manufacturing
The sensor specialist Interlink Electronics has added UK manufacturing to its capabilities, with the acquisition of Calman Technology in Irvine, Scotland. Interlink Electronics offers a wide range of products and services for a variety of applications including automotive, consumer, home automation, industrial, medical, wearable and IOT.
It provides force sensors, rugged touch sensors, piezoelectric sensors, membrane keypads, electrochemical gas and environmental sensors based on proven, proprietary technologies.
It also offers force and piezoelectric sensors which are ultra-thin, durable, reliable, and inexpensive. These characteristics make them suitable for use in HMI (human machine interface) touch applications as well as analogue data capture, sensor fusion and IoT devices.
The portfolio also includes gas sensors, modules and instruments which are small, low power and also cost effective. They can be used in a variety of applications such as air quality monitoring, residential and industrial safety, water treatment, health and wellness. The company has also added advanced digital, calibrated gas sensor modules and new sensors which will be exhibited.
The company can work with customers to develop bespoke and custom solutions with product design and integration services, from concept design to prototyping and manufacturing – P2P (prototype to production).
