Eurocircuits launches a new PCB service
Eurocircuits, one of the largest European manufacturers of prototype and small series PCBs, has launched a new PCB service, BINDI pool. As the name suggests, PCBs are produced in Eurocircuits brand new Indian production facility, but using the same material, technical expertise and process equipment as Eurocircuits’ factories in Germany and Hungary.
Eurocircuits’ BINDI pool offers medium volume double-sided PCBs using the same transparent pricing and ordering menus as its prototype services. Users have access to its value-adding support functions. All boards are re-inspected in Eurocircuits’ European quality centre in Hungary and shipped at European transport rates with no customs issues.
Eurocircuits has a thorough understanding of operating in India, having operated there since 2000 providing front-end data preparation for its European PCB manufacture. The new manufacturing facility, Eurocircuits India Ltd, uses the same order-pooling technology that Eurocircuits has developed in Europe over the past 15 years. The combination of several orders on a production panel cuts costs and eliminates tooling charges and minimum order values. Today the service offers up to 12 m2 of 2-layer PCBs on a 15 or 20 day delivery. 4-layer boards will be available from the second quarter of 2014. The BINDI pool service specification is the same as Eurocircuits’ widely-used STANDARD pool service.
