Entry level laser from Amada showcased at Southern

6_QUATTRO_perspective_01 With a continuous laser output of 2,500W, the Quattro laser is the ideal machine for entering the field of laser technology, says Amada. The machine, which will be showcased at Southern 2016, has compact design for low operating costs and can tackle all production tasks, from sample part to batch production. It can also complement a pre-existing and larger laser system.

Paired with the AMNC control, this laser can be operated simply by touchscreen; its large screen makes information easily accessible.

At Southern 2016 the company is also showing the HFE MKII 5012 press brake. This second generation HFE press brake has a larger open height and throat depth, a narrow, lower beam and a large distance between the side frames. Energy saving technology includes a new drive system which lowers energy usage by up to 20% and reduces maintenance requirements. Efficiency is achieved by a frequency converter which controls the motor pump and only operates when necessary.
