Dynamic drag chains
Drag chains by Kabelschlepp Metool are modular and available in a variety of materials, cable and loomed systems for any dynamic application, says the company.
The product ranges from units measuring only a few millimeters to bespoke chains in multiple link assemblies weighing several tons. In addition to catalogue dimensions there are various ranges where modular design widths can be sized in mm increments.
Materials used for cable chains are the result of R&D to deliver the properties required.
There is also a wide range of steel drag chains. Automation cable is tested and rated to millions of cycles and optimised for bend radius and small diameters. Customised, application-specific system solutions can be built and supplied ready-to-install.
