Digital and optical inspection options launched at Southern
Two visual inspection microscopes were launched by Vision Engineering at Southern Manufacturing 2016, the EVO Cam full-HD digital microscope and Lynx EVO eyepiece-less stereo microscope.
EVO Cam is specifically designed for quality control, testing, inspection and documentation. It has one-button image capture, magnification options up to 300x and full auto focus. Live video streaming and HD 1080p/60frame/s image quality unlocks the power of digital imaging, says the company, with integral image capture direct to USB memory stick.
Lynx EVO is the most advanced eyepiece-less stereo microscope, the company has ever made. There is no eyepiece due to the 3D (stereo) imaging, and the patented design is simple to operate. It simplifies hand-eye co-ordination tasks, and allows operators to maintain the highest levels of performance, even across an entire shift – enhancing productivity and reducing costs.
