Award-winning foundry has on-site support
Aluminium die casting and machining specialist, MRT Castings, will be exhibiting for the 12th time at Southern Manufacturing 2017.
Having won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2016, the company’s reputation has spread worldwide – the Andover-based foundry now exports over 55% of its output. It will promote its innovative, complete component manufacturing solutions at the show.
MRT claims to operate one of the most technically-advanced gravity and high-pressure die casting foundries in the UK, supported by an in-house CNC machine shop, surface finishing, and electro-mechanical assembly facilities. Principal markets are in the medical device, aerospace, defence, lighting, and electronics industries.
Many customers have little experience of die casting as a manufacturing approach, and the experienced team enjoys working with customers’ design teams to optimise components for casting, to create the maximum competitive advantage for a component.
