Bespoke battery packs demonstrate range of technologies

Bespoke and custom-built battery packs will be exhibited at the DMS Technologies stand at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2014. The battery and charging systems designer and manufacturer serves a broad spectrum of sectors including telecommunications, petro-chemical, medical, defence and security, aerospace and rail.

At Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2014, the company will also show its new 12V lithium battery range, designed for high rate discharge applications where space and weight are key design factors. There will also be a selection of ancillary products including chargers, battery protection and control boards.

The company offers its own Red Flash brand batteries and is the UK value added distributor for Enersys and distributor for Lifeline; the premier deep-cycle battery range. It is also a distributor and assembler for Tadiran lithium cells.

Accredited to ISO 9001:2008, the company is an approved supplier to Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors in defence and security, as well as being preferred suppliers to a number of regional and global organisations. It manufactures portable power systems for engine start, used by the MoD (Ministry of Defence), UK and European recovery organisations and fleet operators. Other branded products are used on the UK’s rail network powering points and level crossings in rural areas.
