Wide range of nylon pillars shows versatility
Manufacturer and stockist of pillars and spacers, G&B Projects, will be displaying its range of robust and adaptable nylon pillars at Southern Manufacturing 2015. The standard range comes in round, hexagonal and micro specifications, with practically any body length supplied with metric thread sizes from M2.5 to M12 as well as imperial and US versions, says the company.
Custom sizes and specifications can be manufactured on request with fast turnaround, in many cases at no extra cost.
The pillars have an innovative insert design and locating process. The strong, resilient, solid body style and brass insert design mean that they are inherently resistant to shock, claims the company, which can cause inferior products to fail. The range offers increased strength over wholly plastic parts and electrical insulation properties not attainable with wholly metal parts.
Visitors will also be able to see nylon and brass spacers (clearance and threaded), snap-in nylon pillars and spacers, brass and steel pillars, headed insulating bushes, metric screws, nuts and washers, screwlock assemblies and earthing bars.
Almost every component can be custom-made to non-standard specifications, says the company. All work is monitored under the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and all products supplied are RoHS compliant.
