Volburg increases EMS turnover in the UK

Latvian EMS, Volburg, opened a UK operation in 2011 and has increased turnover from €0.5m in 2020 to €5.3m in 2022, with the UK arm contributing one third of the company’s total turnover.

The small EMS company began in Latvia in 1996 and now has 72 employees. It is well equipped with SMT lines, different soldering machines, ICT flying probe and conformal coating capabilities.

Volburg holds quality certificates ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015, automotive IATF16949:2016 to ensure a high quality level of assembled products and supporting processes such as full traceability and social responsibility.
