Trans-Tronic’s wound components serve transport, medical and renewable sectors
Electrical transformers and coil windings have been produced by Trans-Tronic for over 40 years. It builds wound components, ranging from tiny air coils to toroids and three-phase transformers, including laminated versions, pictured here. In addition to manufacturing to customer specifications, the technical team can also advise and develop new designs.
Energy-efficient designs make products environmentally-friendly, says the company, which serves a wide range of customers all around the world in railway, lighting, audio, defence, aviation, oil and gas, medical, renewables, R&D, instrumentation and automotive markets.
Orders can be one-offs or in thousands and the company is ISO9001:2015-accredited and has quality approvals from UL and Network Rail.
