Train for success with STEM Training

STEM Training_tmb Training courses and consultancy will be highlighted on the STEM Training stand at Southern Manufacturing 2014. It is, says owner Paul Pidgeon CIT (Certified IPC Trainer), the only independent IPC training consultancy in the south-west of England, providing an ‘on-site’ IPC training service in the manufacturing and servicing of high quality, Class 3, electronic systems.

Training equipment includes IPC Standards, solder/rework stations, PCBs, components abd hand tools, to provide training and consultancy services for companies that manufacture electronic or electrical products to customers which include Thales, National Air Traffic Services, Siemens, UTC Aerospace, Ametek Aerospace, Eaton Aerospace and Red Bull Racing.

Courses include IPC-610 (inspection for electronic acceptability); 7711/7721 (rework, repair and modification techniques); WHMA-620 (inspection for cable and wire harnesses); J-STD-001 (soldered connections); static awareness and consultancy; hand soldering (lead and lead-free solder alloys) and rework and repair skills (lead and lead-free solder alloys)

Theoretical and practical training programs can be conducted on the customers’ site (nationally & Internationally).
