Compression joints for IP-rated seals, NVH requirements, bonding, potting and encapsulation is applied by a Robafoam robot to automatically apply foam seals.

The company offers a contract gasketing service using six-axis robot systems, and using foam application technology to seal any volumes from one-off prototypes to high volume production quantities. It can adjust the foam hardness applied by controlling the ratio of material to air to create the closed-cell bubble structure. Changing robot speeds and flow rates varies bead width from 1.5 to 20mm or more.  There is also the option to cure the material (at 80ºC) within two to eight minutes.

The company also manufactures 1K foam application systems to apply 3D foam seals for incorporation into a production line. It also offers a technical service once the equipment is integrated into a production line and can support sealing demands from concept design to full production integration.
