RDP Electronics showcases LVDTs

Displacement transducers have been designed and manufactured in the UK by RDP Sensors & Instrumentation for over 55 years. On its stand this year, visitors will be able to view many of its LVDTs, including examples from the standard, industrial, extreme environment and bespoke ranges.

The company offers numerous configurations of load cells, pressure transducers and torque transducers. Displacement ranges from 0.5 to 940mm and operating pressure can be full vacuum to 20,000psi, with maximum PT rating of IP68 to 2.2km. Operating temperatures are -220 to 600°C, and withstand a maximum radiation dose of 1G Gy.

Tension, compression and universal load cell types are available with ranges from 250g to 2.2NM. Pressure transducer types are gauge, absolute, barometric, vacuum and differential and pressure ranges from 542mBar to 6,895Bar.

There will also be examples of instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.

Technical staff will be on the stand to discuss applications.
