Pneumax defines industrial automation, process & automotive business units
Industrial automation components manufacturer, Pneumax not only makes its Southern Manufacturing debut but also defines three dedicated business units: industrial automation, process and automotive.
The industrial automation sector offers air service units, including supply and discharge valves (EN ISO13849-1) to performance levels (PL) C and E. There are also pneumatic, mechanical, and electrically actuated control valves, including a range of valve manifolds operated via serial system protocols such as CANopen, ProfiBus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, EtherCat and IO-Link. Pneumatic and electric actuators also includes a range of manipulation components. Many of the pneumatic actuators are manufactured in the UK, along with pneumatic and electro-pneumatic control panels.
The Process business unit has designed a range of components using stainless steel (AISI 316) and bespoke seals suitable for high or low temperatures, including ATEX-certified components and control valves fitted with explosion proof and intrinsically safe solenoid coils.
The automotive business unit offers power clamps and pin packages with features such as opening angle adjustment, inductive sensors as standard and high efficiency options.
