New facility doubles EMS capacity
Celebrating their 22nd anniversary, Cicor visits Southern Manufacturing for the first time to promote its new facility in Arad, Romania. The new development consolidates its position in the European and Romanian electronics market, and adds to the value proposition, with a new, optimised layout, special design for optimum EMS processes, additional capacity and new technologies.
The company, a member of Swiss Group Cicor, is an electronics service provider with access to an international structure and a range of production capabilities in PCB assembly, system assembly and box building, control cabinet construction, cable assembly. It offers outsourcing for development and manufacturing of electronic component assemblies as well as complete devices and systems. The integrated quality data management software allows the company to ensure that all relevant quality data is recorded during the manufacturing and maintenance of electronic products and trace, for example, all component batch numbers for modules or units.
Abiding by two important principles, partnership and reliability, the company sees itself as a partner over the entire product life cycle, from product development through series production to after-sales-service. The upgrade of the Arad site will consolidate and grow the business with current European partners, and also provides opportunities for new business partners.
