Marine bearings from O Rings make a splash
Designed for demanding applications such as rudder bearings and water-lubricated stern tube bearings, the Orkot TLM marine bearings will be showcased by O Rings at Southern 2022.
Approvals include the latest options for greaseless operation, such as rudder carrier bearing. The company can assist in selecting the best bearing material for rudders, stern shafts, stabilisers, mooring systems and deck machinery.
Orkot marine bearings won the contract from Rolls Royce for the supply of water-lubricated bracket bearings for the Type 45 destroyer fleet designed and built for the British Royal Navy by BAE Systems.
