With the latest installed equipment and capabilities, Southern Manufacturing 2015 exhibitor Jenks and Cattell Engineering offers a full manufacturing service, from sheet metal to a finished assembly or fabrication, delivered straight to the customer’s door.

Laser new_tmb A second laser machine enables the company to offer a 24/7 service, to manufacture parts within 72 hour lead times. A dedicated account manager, available 24/7, with a full understanding of engineering, is able in many cases to reduce feasibility issues and identify the most efficient manufacturing method.

The engineering service includes the ability to cut up to 20mm steel with the latest laser, as well as 15mm aluminium and stainless steel. The laser machine is ideal for complex shapes, and any quantity, from 10 to 5000 individual parts.

The parts can then follow a further on-site process, with two brake presses in operation; metal can be bent from 0.2 to 20mm thick and develop very complex formations to meet specifications.

There is the capability to create full product assemblies with automated nut-insertion and both robotic and manual welding facilities. Individual sections of metal can be either attached together via nutting or welding to create a larger and functional product, part or component up to 3m in size.

Long-term partnerships with local painting and heat treatment companies, provide painting, plating and heat treatment services.
