HSM technology helps customers reduce, re-use and recycle
Waste management technology specialist, HSM, will showcase its portfolio of solutions at Southern Manufacturing 2020, which includes horizontal and vertical baling systems, the ProfiPack packaging machine and a range of PET solutions with compaction technology. On display at the event will be the ProfiPack P425 and V-Press 610, with the machines set to feature live practical demonstrations across the three days.
The ProfiPack P425 packaging machine offers a clever solution for all shipping and storage requirements by perforating cardboard waste, transforming it into free biodegradable packaging material – perfect protection for a diverse range of shipped items. The high-performance packaging machine also eliminates the need to use single-use plastic packaging, such as bubble wrap.
In addition to this, says the firm, the V-Press 610 improves internal waste management systems by reducing the volume of cardboard or foils up to 95% by compressing waste into dense bales. This machine benefits from a hand wheel door lock, making it easy to handle and also rapid motion technology, which decreases cycle time by up to 40%, thus saving on labour time and costs.
