Gearbox options from Wittenstein for design freedom
Among the precision gearboxes, couplings, rack and pinion systems, cyber motors and linear/rotary actuators exhibited by Wittenstein at Southern 2020, will be the alpha Value Line. This is distinguished with economical and flexible solutions with backlash of less than or equal to eight arc minutes. For example, the planetary and bevel gearboxes of the NP and NPK series as well as the NVS and NVH worm gearboxes are suitable for a wide range of applications thanks to numerous ratios and output versions, says the company.
For machines with medium to low requirements for positioning accuracy, the gearboxes of the alpha basic line, with less than 12 arc minutes are recommended. The CP, CPS, CPK, and CPSK planetary and bevel gearboxes as well as the CVS and CVH worm gearboxes combine flexibility on the drive side, with economy, the company adds.
The servo gearboxes are manufactured in Germany and many units offer standard lead times of three weeks or less.
