Filtermist showcases extraction expertise at Southern Manufacturing 2014
Oil mist removal specialist, Filtermist, will be showcasing an extensive range of its own brand oil mist collectors, as well as oil smoke, dust and fume extraction equipment from its Swedish parent company, Absolent, on stand Q102 at Southern Manufacturing 2014.
Shropshire based Filtermist has been manufacturing centrifugal oil mist collectors since 1969 and now sells its units into more than 60 countries worldwide. There are more than 200,000 Filtermists in daily operation worldwide in a range of manufacturing sectors including automotive, aerospace and medical technologies. Southern Manufacturing 2014 offers an opportunity to showcase Filtermist’s full range of oil mist extraction units, including its smallest models to date, the recently introduced S Series.
As the sole UK distributor for Absolent, Filtermist will also be showing a selection of oil smoke, dust and fume extractors, including the latest addition to its A•smoke family – the compact A•smoke5 oil smoke filter.
The A•smoke5 is a machine-mountable filter unit specifically designed for removing oil smoke in industrial workplaces. It has a highly efficient EC-fan and integrated airflow control which ensures that the filter unit consumes a relatively small amount of energy and compensates for changes in the system. This allows the filter unit to maintain the correct airflow level throughout the production cycle for the lifetime of the filter – reducing cost as well as energy usage.
Filtermist will also be highlighting the quality of servicing and maintenance it offers, for both its own and Absolent units.
