E for efficiency range saves time preparing cables

A cable marking system to increase productivity by up to 60% has been introduced by Phoenix Contact. The E Series is the latest addition to the company’s range of marking systems for cable and termination identification applied to cables and terminals directly.

The company’s wide range of marking systems can be linked to its Tool Fox range’s new clipx Wire assist workbench and software, designed to save engineers even more time when preparing cables.

The workbench and software dramatically reduces wire assembly time by importing wiring lists and preparing the data to create a more organised and quicker working procedure. The clipx Wire can use the company’s marking systems and automatic tooling devices, and can  sort, plan, cut cable and print labels for the entire wire assembly job.

The company’s marking systems can be used for all applications including mobile on-site work.
