CNC increases capacity option

SKM-T30_SMALL_tmb Anotronic will be spotlighting the River 300 CNC, four-axis EDM drilling machine at Southern Manufacturing 2015.

This is the CNC version of the entry level River 3 manual EDM drill shown at last year’s exhibition. It now has an option of increased capacity from holding 0 to 3mm diameter electrodes to 0 to 6.3mm diameter.

The show will also see the UK launch of compact model SKM T30 ZNC EDM sink machine, for small components and for teaching at Universities, colleges and schools.

Both machines have a footprint no bigger than a Euro pallet – useful when space is at a premium. Precision machining examples include CNC multi-axis milling, CNC turning, CNC grinding, EDM die-sinking, EDM drilling, wire EDM, electrochemical machining/deburring.

Target industries are aerospace, oil & gas, motor, food machinery, medical implants, gas turbines, steam turbines, audio, Formula One and nuclear. The company is ISO 9001-2008 registered FM 40096.
