Busy show for GF Machining Solutions
GF Machining Solutions, the EDM, milling and laser ablation machine tool specialist and automation and work-holding solutions provider, welcomed over 120 visitors onto its stand at Southern Manufacturing 2015.
Showcasing the latest wire EDM and 5-axis machine tools from its stand, the company reported that business was brisk and that orders for three machines were taken during the event. Says managing director, Martin Spencer: “As well as the machine tool sales I was also particularly impressed by the level of visitor interest in our technology and the number of serious enquiries generated as a direct result of us attending the show.
“Knowing which machines to exhibit at an event isn’t an exact science but the number of visitors congregating around our CUT 200mS (wire EDM) and HEM 500U (5-axis) machines proved we’d got the balance about right.”
In addition to the interest generated at the show for its more ‘mainstream’ EDM and Milling technologies, the company also experienced a significant number of enquiries for its laser ablation machine tools.
