Bespoke design by Coax Connectors solve problems with precision
Working with OEMs to design connectors, Coax Connectors offers a bespoke connector design with a realistic MOQ.
The company’s design specialists can work with customers through design concepts and prototyping, to supplying a fully qualified production part.
Projects might include designing connectors for different board thicknesses, leg length adjustments, connector design to suit bespoke panels and enclosures. They may also be designed to suit a customer’s PCB layout or with a quick release for test applications, for example. Coax Connectors offers a range of different connector materials and finishes or designing to meet specific IP ratings.
The company portfolio includes a wide range of RF connector products with IP68/rugged connectors and cable assemblies for use in industrial and harsh environments.
There are also PCB and cable mounted IP68 connectors such as the SMA IP68 right angle bulkhead PCB mount jack, which has a bulkhead gasket and epoxy internal seal. It is suitable for soldering to a 5.08 footprint PCB.
Coax Connectors offer alternative finishes such as the black plated N type jack to SMA jack one inch square, four-hole flange which offers a low reflection finish. Visitors will be able to see the TNC front mount 3/8 x 32 bulkhead solder post jack colour coded red for easy identification as well as a wide range of cable assemblies including a ruggedised cable assembly produced by the in-house cable assembly team.
