Human machine interface (HMI) products for applications in agriculture, marine, medical, military (pictured) and aerospace are available from Apem Components. The company supplies toggle, rocker, slide and pushbutton switches while its keyboard manufacturing facilities are used to provide bespoke control panels.

It has an IDEC range for machine safety applications. The range includes light guards, laser scanning, machine interlocks, power supplies and emergency stop switches.

There is also a portfolio of joysticks, from thumb stick to hand grip. Hall-effect, CAN, USB or simple digital outputs are all supported and the company’s team of engineers is available to provide customisation support.

LED indicators include single, bi-colour, tri-colour and RGB and there is a wide selection of panel cut-outs available. The company can accommodate a specific voltage if required by an application.
