White Horse Plastics debut highlights tight tolerance capability
Exhibiting for the first time at Southern Manufacturing 2017, White Horse Plastics (WHP) will highlight the full spectrum of its manufacturing services. The firm specialises in tight tolerance technical injection moulding and sub-assembly manufacture.
WHP was founded in 1973 and company services range from development, design, and in house tool-manufacture through to lean-manufactured serial production. In addition to ISO9001, ISO 14001, and TS 16949 WHP now has ISO 13485 accreditation, the key standard for suppliers of med-tech manufacturing services.
Located in the Vale of the White Horse in Stanford-in-the-Vale, the current WHP technical competencies include a fleet of over thirty injection moulding machines, processing the full array of thermoplastic polymers from the commodity to the exotic; CAD/CAM facilities, CNC optical measurement, CMM systems, insert loading and camera inspection, a fully equipped tool room and a dedicated medical manufacturing space. Further development of the White Horse Plastics ‘white room’ moulding area is planned for this year.
